ARCITILE X BELSTAFF.
A Space Between Vol 2.
Together with Arcitile and TM, we visited Ketley Brick, the maker of the Staffordshire blue quarry tiles chosen for the Belstaff flagship store on London’s Regent Street.
Bricks and tiles were first made on the Ketley Brick site in 1805. A mould was created using a 3D-printed iteration of the motif to create the accent bricks with the Belstaff logo. It is then pressed into the tile using a mechanical press that has been on the site for more than 200 years.
We shot a series of stills wich fearure in A Space Between Vol 2. and together with TM produced a short film documenting how the tiles are made.
