Isolation
A Lockdown Personal Project
It’s like being in a film, where the characters are just staring, dumbstruck at some reality-altering event on a live news feed.
The world is changing, but the new reality hasn’t sunk in yet.
As photographers, our instinct is to document this moment in time and try to make sense of it. There’s an eerie emptiness to the streets.
Places we normally rush by have become visible again. Passing encounters have new significance. Time with family feels more meaningful.
If there’s a positive to come out of these strange days, we hope it’s that more people are reconnecting with their environments and, from a two-metre distance, with each other.
Isolation is giving us all the time to think and see again.
